Oh no, early in the day, I couldn’t get Welly to laugh. He’s so tensed, so focused on getting the day perfect that he forgot how to laugh..

Oh no, I couldn’t get Yanita to stop laughing.. Aha! ^_^ Just mix those two, and Welly is bound to laugh, I thought..

And boy oh boy, was I ever more glad that I was right, ^_^

Definitely one of the most laughter-filled weddings I covered. Not just the clients that got all the laugh, the crew had so much fun working with WeddingClip. Ian and Elvira, pleasure to work with you guys.

Welly and Yen2, here’s to a zillion years to come.

Steve + Zerin: A Love Story

What a rush job! ^_^ We only met Zerin 4 days before the shoot, and didn’t meet Steve until the morning of the session.

I was so worried that I almost turned down the kind job offer. For those who really know me, I love a good and thorough preparation. ^_^ I love getting to know the couple months before the shoot, preparing a suitable concept with them, picking out wardrobes, etc.

I even became more worried when Steve walked out of the car as I saw a very serious and towering figure in him. But thanks to my team, especially Rudy, laughter and off-beat jokes started to fill the atmosphere within 15 mins. ^_^ My worry? Evaporated, ^_^

Hartadi + Listania: Pre-Wed

People ask me, in the middle of my busy life, why I go through all the trouble, how do I find the energy to be a pre wedding/wedding photographer? Aren’t you tired? Don’t the long hours get old quickly? Aren’t you bored?

If we look around us, love has become a rarity, so difficult to find. Its definition shifted, true love now lives in the heart of so few.

I believe in true love, and I wish this to every one I meet, as it’s a joy everyone should feel, at least once in their lifetime. And that’s why I take these pictures, as I search for true love in the expressions and the moments captured.

Call me foolish, call me crazy, call me anything. But I hope that my pictures can be a constant reminder to everyone to keep searching for, and hanging on to your true love.

Rudy + Reza: Pre-wed

We all were worried for Yaya (Reza’s nickname), ^_^ We kept telling her that someone as nice and as kind as her did not have to worry at all, that she’d find someone perfect real soon.

For those of you who are friends with Yaya, you can’t help but care for her, as she does for everyone around her. So when you hear that she’s finally getting married, you immediately would want to meet the lucky guy, look him up and down, and hope that he’s right for your dear friend.

As soon as I met Rudy, I was more than relieved, I was ecstatic! ^_^ A gentleman, lost in the midst of today’s world, whose manner would bring any girl to their knees.

Yaya and Rudy – glad to have made you both laugh, glad to have been there for you guys. This is for you. ^_^

Johanes + Juliana: The Wedding

With the so much fun we had during the prewedding session, I was heartbroken when I found out that I couldn’t be around to photograph Johanes and Juliana’s Wedding. ^_^

However, looking at the pictures that Rudy (my cousin and partner-in-crime ^_^) took, I realized that they were in good hands. Rudy kept it fun and lively, not missing a beat, not missing a moment. Darn good job, I must say.

Henry + Liany: Pre-Wed

When one of your best friends is getting married, you cannot help but feel a little old, a little over the hill. Your memories of her is her in high school uniform, and not in wedding gowns; skipping classes, not walking down the isle; sweet 17 parties, definitely not weddings,^_^
And then you cannot help but feel so happy for her, seeing that she’s finally on her way.

Li, this is for you and Henry. So sorry I couldn’t be there for your wedding. But know that we’re all smiles, from ear to ear, knowing that you’re smiling on your big day.

Welly + Yanita: Pre-Wed

Oh, what a morning.. The super spicy Iga Penyet I ate the day before did not sit well at all with my fragile stomach the whole night..

But the day turned north as soon as we saw the couple with their lit up faces and the gazillions balo0ns they managed to bring, ^_^

Fashion: Fashion Collection

Hian Tjen – a close friend of my sister’s – is a very talented upcoming fashion designer. His work, and work ethics, have been nothing short of impressive and inspirational. So when he asked me to do a short session on his collections, he didn’t have to ask us twice, ^_^

Sofyan + Wenny: Pre-Wed

PIK, Gading, Dufan, Monas, etc. The sessions took us on a trip all over Jakarta ^_^

Some may not believe that these shots were taken in town, but take my word: they were. ^_^ Though we worked real hard to make them appear otherwise.

Sofyan and Wenny were very cooperative. So cooperative that even every single piece of their wardrobes was consulted with us. The result? Check out the pictures for yourselves. I’ll be adding them daily. Cheers all!

Ronald + Sylvia: Pre-Wed

Definitely one of the quickest sessions ever! ^_^

Ron and Syl were so easy to photograph that we were genuinely surprised each time we checked the expressions on the camera. “Hm? We already got the shot? This soon?”

Perhaps it’s their chemistry, perhaps it’s their real level of comfort, perhaps it’s their true friendship. Whatever it is, keep it coming guys! ^_^
