Henry + Deasy’s Pre-Wedding Photoclip. Please enjoy them as much as we loved making them.
We just got back from a very tiring Semarang-Surabaya shooting back-to-back weddings when I realized that I had not uploaded the pre-wedding pics of the couple I covered in Surabaya. ^_^
Forgive this old mind folks and enjoy the pics. And of course, the wedding pics will be up real soon.
Andy and Liza, congrats once again, and a big thanks for your hospitality, ^_^

Here’s the much awaited photoclip. Please click play to view the show. And enjoy!
A different taste, a different take, as we were asked to do a “Love at First Sight” theme in this pre-wedding project. So, be sure to “follow the story” by clicking through every pic. ^_^
Also stay tuned for the “regular” pre-wedding photos of the couple, coming right up, ^_^

Temmy, one of the coolest dudes I’ve come to know, got so nervous and tensed that day he forgot how to make his smiling muscles move. ^_^
The bride to be, on the other hand, was surprisingly laid back, and could smile on command. Temmy oh Temmy, there goes your reputation.
Guess what finally got him to smile? (Correction…, BURST into tears of joy!)
Answer: my friend, Mario’s round belly, ^_^

What a nice and super friendly couple! ^_^ Having photographed so many couples, more often than not, fatigue and nervousness would catch up, and a little tension would show. But not Erwin and Erna. ^_^ Erwin is Mr. Cool, Mr. Proper, Mr. Kind. While Erna is Ms. All Smile, Ms. Bubbly and Ms. Hyper Nice. (Soon to be Mrs. Cool though, I thought).
So even though the session broke our previous record of the longest session ever, ^_^ we really felt fulfilled and happy and I immediately was looking forward to the wedding day.
That’s how nice they are, really. ^_^

Join us on exciting photo trip to Singapore in August 2010 and Bali in October 2010!

What makes a good person? Their background? Appearance? Behavior ? Words they utter? Actions they take?
I don’t normally go on a “fun” shooting trip, as the weekly photography projects as they are now, are already taking up so much of my time. But when Ron (one of our all time fave clients, ^_^) asked me to come along on this session, I was in need of a break, so I went.
I was so glad I said yes to Ron. I now know what makes a good person to photographers: a couple that’s (even though you just met) so friendly and nice that you’d have so much fun photographing them.
Andrian and Yuwi: thanks for letting me come along.

I’ll never forget Ron, ^_^ Just the thought of him puts a grin on my face any time. ^_^ The guy insisted that he would choose us as his pre-wedding/wedding photographer if and only if we would teach him photography. Go figure. ^_^
I initially thought, he’d just be another hyped-up guy who just picked up photography, and would leave photography at a drop of a hat. But boy, was I wrong. And I truly was glad to be wrong. ^_^
He was diligent, persistent, critical, and sharp (not to mention damn fun to be around). Go see his facebook page, if you don’t believe me. Look at how far his photographs have come. ^_^
Dude, I’m proud of you. See you at your wedding, ^_^
PS: and what about Diana? Let’s just say: Ron is one damn lucky dude, ^_^
